What is an important tradition in your family? Do you have any special ways to celebrate holidays, important events, etc.
One special tradition that we have in my family is that every Christmas, each kid in the family gets a new Christmas ornament to hang on the Christmas tree. The ornament that each kid gets represents something special that he/her did that year, or something that they did a lot or something that stood out during the year. For example, one year I got a big golden star with a ribbon on it which represented that I had been a star that year, meaning that I had performed and shone out a lot. One year, my brother read all of the Harry Potter books and he got an ornament of Harry Potter on a broomstick. It's a really fun tradition because it helps us remember what we did throughout all the years.
